Our first guest Rae-Lynn Cebul Ziegler is the author of Let’s Look Together – An Interactive Picture Book for People with Alzheimer’s and Other Forms of Memory Loss. I think you will be surprised at what you learn via her research and how it can help both professionals and family members. We had a great conversation and a surprising one I think for many, at what types of pictures were chosen, how and why they were positioned on the page and the fact there are no words with the photos.

Rae-Lynn’s professional experience is in occupational therapy with a specialty certification in sensory integration (learning theory based on how the body’s nervous system takes in information and then organizes it for meaningful daily use). This sparked the concept of how the book was created to work. She successfully engaged minds that were less able to concentrate and respond. The book is a tool to empower supportive communication, meaningful interactions – to keep, and maintain connections both neurological and relational!
