Our Host, Lori La Bey will be talking with Lorena Demian who is back with to share her journey having two children, David and Jessica, both diagnosed with Lewy Body dementia. It’s been about 7 years since Lorena has been on the show and my guess is she has experienced more on her journey than any of us can imagine.
Also joining us is Dr. Rosemary Laird and Deanna Vigliotta. Dr Laird is a recognized expert in diagnosis and care of patients with Alzheimer’s disease and served for 25 years as a Medical Director for two state of Florida Memory Disorder Clinics (Health First and AdventHealth Maturing Minds). She is the founder and Chief Medical Officer for Navigating Aging Needs, LLC. She is also a Principal Investigator at ClinCloud Research in Viera, Florida focusing on clinical trials for Alzheimer’s disease. Dr. Laird also continues as a community faculty member of the Florida State University Department of Geriatrics. She is a passionate advocate for the support of family caregivers and co- authored the book Take Your Oxygen First: Preserving Your Health and Happiness While Caring for a loved one with Alzheimer’s Disease.
Deanna Vigliotta is the National Sales Manager for Seni, premium adult incontinence products. She has an extensive 30 year background in healthcare sales and sales management.
