A BIG THANK YOU to Dr. Lakelyn Hogan Eichenberger with Home Instead who invited me on her live video chat to discuss early diagnosis and why it’s so important. So many people worry about changes in cognition from individuals who are sensing a change in their own lives, to family and friends. This chat will give you some ideas of common changes people question, what could be causing the changes, who to go see if you are concerned, to how to approach the conversation with a loved one, and even how to respond to someone who is telling you they are worried about cognitive changes.
Please Share & Pass This Great Conversation Onto Others
When Dementia Takes a Back Seat To Other Health Issues Plus Examples of Misperceptions, Hallucinations, Delusions and Misunderstandings On Dementia Chats™ Today our experts living with dementia give us great examples of situations where dementia can be ignored, or not acknowledged when other health issues pop up. They also give us great examples of the differences between hallucinations, delusions, misunderstandings and misperceptions.

Their organization has done a fantastic job coordinating over 300 authors who have written on dementia from many angles, and they are still growing. Today, Jean Lee, Vicki Tapia, and Marianne Sciucco will tell us what all they’ve been up to that past two years during Covid, as well as their future plans, as they continue to expand their footprint and provide support to families and professionals alike.
Dementia and the Arts is an Educational Panel where all levels of artists and all types are welcome. Our goal is to elevate panelists work and ability to create beauty in many forms. Panelists, do not have to attend all sessions.
