Kind World – Living With Dementia, A Former Addiction Counselor Relies On A Patient He Once Helped
This is about an addiction counselor, named Frank, who developed dementia a decade ago. When one of his former counselees learned of the diagnosis, he stepped up to be a caregiver for Frank and has been devoted to helping him for 10 years.
This second story is about a woman named Barb who tragically lost her husband three weeks after the death of her mother. Barb coped with the losses with the unlikely help of Canadian-American actor Peter Donat and his wife Marijke, who now cares for her husband Peter since his diagnosis of advanced stage Alzheimer’s.
