Today we had a great discussion on the term “sundowning” and also had talked about some great tips for the holidays. We also discussed the movie “Still Alice,” some gifts wrapped in this disease. I am not sure why, but for some reason Harry Urban did not show up on the recording, although we all heard and saw him while it was live. I apologize for this technology error. Adobe Connect is working on getting this fixed.
Michael Ellenbogen, is 54 years old. His career was in Information Technology, where he was a high level manager. Michael was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease at the age of 49. He is no longer able to work. Michael now spend my time trying to increase awareness of this disease, and work to increase funding for research. He just finished writing his book outlining my experience with Alzheimer’s.
Roberts Bowles, sold his pharmacy in December 2010, Robert lost his purpose in life. Eighteen months later, he was diagnosed with Lewy body dementia. Robert’s mother and father both had dementia
